ABOUT THE PROGRAM
ProForm is specifically designed for athletes looking to improve size, strength, power, and speed. The program demands four days of training with a full active recovery day as well. Prior to each lower body session will be a 15-20 minute plyometric session, alternating days of vertical and lateral movements. ProForm will contain two different phases of training, allowing you to build size, strength and power. The program is accessed through the TrainHeroic app.
What to expect:
Strength/Power Phase:
Introduce heavier loads, reps start to drop and weight goes up. Hang/Power cleans, squats, trap bar deadlifts, pull ups.
Power Phase:
Fast sport specific movements.
Plyometrics:
Jumping, throwing, all multidirectional and respective to their sports demands.
Sprinting:
High intensity bouts of sprinting designed to train fast twitch muscle fibers.
Tempo lifts:
Increase time under tension, develop strength, muscle recruitment, stability.
Accessory lifts:
Filler exercises to compliment main lifts and strengthen areas at risk to injury.
MEET YOUR COACH
As a devoted private strength and conditioning coach, I use my extensive sports expertise to improve my clients' performance. With four years of collegiate football experience at Cortland State University, where I won three conference titles, a National Title, and established a single-game rushing yard record, I bring proven knowledge to my teaching. My path has also included useful knowledge earned during an internship with the strength and conditioning program at SUNY Cortland. After my time at Cortland State University, I competed as a Rookie athlete for the USA Olympic Bobsled Team. Today, I work privately with a broad roster of Division I athletes and outstanding high school talent, leveraging my knowledge and experience to help them succeed on and off the field.
